he Libya Africa Investment Portfolio, through its subsidiary, the Libyan African Investments Company (LAICO), owns several companies that invest in hotels and real estate. It currently owns 20 hotels and two resorts, with a combined 3,500 rooms, and a presence in over 27 African countries.<\/p>\n
